HISTORY

     Topp Traxx Productions was founded by Tim Ruth in 1985.  Tim provided services for weddings, bars and schools.  In 1991 I, Shawn Hokanson, met Tim at a school dance.  Soon after I was helping Tim and learning how to DJ.  I was HOOKED!  Tim and I spent the next few years DJing together.

     In 1997 Tim lost his battle with Cystic Fibrosis.  His wish was that I keep the love we both had for DJing going.  I took over Topp Traxx and have worked to make it into what it is today.  In 2002 Mike Kolkmann joined Topp Traxx and we continue to grow.

     I love to DJ.  There is nothing like the feeling you get taking your love of music and sharing it with others, creating a fun filled time.
